Scott Anderson - Guitar
Guitarist Scott Anderson is a versatile player who is versed in funk, jazz, rock, classical, blues, gospel and more. He studied classical and jazz guitar at Northern Illinois University and Illinois Central College. He is now a graduate assistant at Illinois State University in guitar. He performs with the Central Illinois Jazz Society house band, leads his own trio, and works as a sideman for many artists. Aside from the variety of live performances, Scott is a session player in the Rock Solid Studio house band.
David Sulzberger - Keys
David has had extensive live music performance and sound reinforcement experience since before high school. He grew up gigging on piano, bass, and drums with his dad's country swing band. He plays all styles from country, blues, rock, funk, jazz and contemporary Christian music. Among touring and laying down tracks on numerous albums, David has also worked with Blues artists (voted in the Iowa Blues hall of fame), a country singer with #1 CMT videos, and has opened for numerous national acts of all styles. Upon moving to the area, he played with the 80's cover band Mister Sister and now works with a blues group named Chicken Shack as well as JC and the Redemption. David has a jazz performance piano degree from the University of Iowa and Berklee. He also has education degrees from DePaul and a Masters from the University of Northern Iowa. David is a vocal and band teacher in the Illinois State University Lab Schools and Music Director at St. Luke Union Church in Bloomington. Jason Shea - Bass
Mr. Shea is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and VanderCook College of Music, a former marching member of The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps, and a current member of Star United Drum and Bugle Corps. He is an active performer in <see Jeremy's bio for band list>. Hobbies include doing just about anything outdoors or under water, marching with old guy drum corps, making stuff, and relating just about any life occurrence to Seinfeld or Star Trek. Mr. Shea has lived in Dunlap his entire life except the time he spent getting his degree at Starfleet Academy.
Jeremy "JC" Clark - Drums/Band Leader
Jeremy Clark is a professional percussionist native to Peoria, IL. He obtained his Associate in Arts Degree from Illinois Central College, and attended Bradley University, studying percussion under Ms. Peggy Bonner. He has toured throughout the United States with various groups including Jack Morgan and the Russ Morgan Orchestra, and the world famous Dallas Brass. Early career ventures led him to Europe to play at the Montreux and Brienz Jazz Festivals in Switzerland, the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy, and the Vienne Jazz Festival in France. While residing in St. Louis, Missouri, Clark performed with the St. Louis Brass Band, St. Charles Municipal Band, St. Charles Big Band, Compton Heights Band, Gateway City Big Band, and the Blue Knights of Swing. Clark now resides in Central Illinois where he has formed “JC and The Redemption”, his 11-piece soul/funk/stax band. He currently performs with the Central Illinois Jazz Orchestra (CIJO), Illinois Central Jazz Train, Central Illinois Jazz Society House Band, Peoria Symphony Orchestra, Peoria Area Civic Chorale, and the Peoria Municipal Band, among others. Besides playing regularly, Clark is very active in the educational scene giving clinics to numerous area schools as well as presenting clinics at the Illinois All-State Convention and the Midwest Music Convention in Chicago. He is the Drumline Instructor at Dunlap High School as well as the Front Ensemble Instructor at Limestone Community High School in addition to his private studio at Clark Music Studios. He also has several arrangements published with Alfred Music and enjoys freelance arranging in his spare time. He also loves being a husband and a father.
